Photo booths have a long and interesting history. In fact, the first public photo booth similar to the ones we use today was located in New York City and began taking pictures in 1925. For a quarter, a person received eight printed photos. Capturing, processing, and printing the pictures took more than 10 minutes—a far cry from today’s technology.
Over the past 20 years, photo booth rentals have grown in popularity. Below, we rank the events for which we are most often hired.
1. Wedding Rentals
With more than 120,000 weddings taking place in Las Vegas each year, it’s no surprise that wedding photo booth rentals top our booking list. More than 50% of our rentals are for wedding receptions, with packages typically lasting three to five hours. We take about 300 individual photos per wedding, on average, and send a gallery link to about 70 people. February through May, as well as September and November, are our most requested months. We recommend booking at least six months ahead for weddings during those periods. We accept confirmed bookings up to one year in advance. 2. Birthday Parties
Quinceañeras
Celebrations of 15 años are among the most popular birthday events in Las Vegas. This cherished tradition has roots in Mexico, Spain, and across Latin America, and it brings families together year-round. Rentals typically last two to three hours, and guests often keep the booth busy. We regularly capture more than 100 photos per hour. Debuts
A traditional Filipino coming-of-age celebration, a debut marks a young woman’s 18th birthday. It celebrates grace, achievement, poise, and the transition into adulthood. With family and friends often traveling from around the world, a photo booth gives guests a chance to capture memories together and take home a keepsake. Debuts are our second most frequently booked type of birthday celebration.
Sweet 16s
A Sweet 16 marks a milestone celebrated across many cultures. These parties often feature elegant attire, a father-daughter dance, speeches, and themed décor. Photo booths are a popular addition, making Sweet 16s one of our most frequently booked birthday events.
Dirty 30s and Other Birthdays
We round out our list with Dirty 30 celebrations and other birthdays. Every birthday is a chance to create a fun gathering. Our photo booth adds props, photo texting, and lasting memories to the celebration.
3. Baby Showers
Baby shower photo booth rentals are growing in popularity as celebrations become bigger and more personalized. We provide baby shower props, create a custom start screen with your chosen details, and deliver the photos after the event. Many clients also book a booth for their child’s first birthday.
