A photo booth adds a memorable touch to any wedding reception. More than half of our bookings are for weddings.
Presentation
Our setup is modern, clean, and designed to blend with your venue and wedding theme. A friendly, professionally dressed attendant will be on site to help guests use the booth. We know how much time, effort, and money go into planning a wedding, so we take extra care to provide a polished experience.
Why Have a Wedding Photo Booth?
The wedding party and guests alike will enjoy having a photo booth at the reception. Weddings are a chance to dress up and celebrate, and the booth gives everyone a fun way to capture photos with friends and family. Studio lighting and a selection of playful props make the experience even better.
Guests also receive printed photos with a custom photo strip overlay—a keepsake to take home and cherish.
Preparing for Photos
Between the excitement of the day, the first dance, dinner, and the garter toss, time flies at a wedding reception. It’s easy to lose track of time, so here’s a simple guide to help you make the most of the photo booth and give everyone time to enjoy it. Every wedding is different, so use this as a starting point.
Reception Guests
Cocktail hour: This usually lasts 30 minutes to an hour. Guests can grab drinks and appetizers and take a few turns at the booth. Lines are often shorter, giving couples and small groups time to pose for more formal photos.
Dancing and celebration: After the first dance and parent dances, the dance floor opens and booth lines can grow quickly. That’s a good time for guests to have fun with props and take playful, memorable pictures.
Guests often continue using the photo booth throughout the evening.
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen
After greeting guests, giving their speeches, and getting a few dances in, members of the wedding party may want to visit the booth. Guests—including the couple’s families—often want photos with the wedding party. A couple of hours before the reception ends is usually a good time.
The Bride and Groom
The photo booth gives the couple a chance to spend time with guests, take pictures, and say goodbye to people who leave early. Some couples enjoy it so much that they take photos with family and friends until the reception ends; others prefer to use it briefly. There’s no right or wrong approach.
If the couple hasn’t used the booth yet, we usually ask a member of the wedding party to invite them over when about 30 minutes remain.
Other Add-ons
Depending on the package, we offer several inclusions and add-ons that can enhance your photo booth rental.
Scrapbook
A scrapbook is available as an add-on or included with the Event Gold package. It’s a black book where guests can place a copy of their photo and leave a message for the couple. Our standard scrapbook has a faux-leather cover and black pages with slots sized for 2×6 photo strips. We provide metallic gel pens.
Photo Book
For this option, we select the best photos after the event, edit and prepare them for print, and place them in a photo book. The book typically arrives about three weeks after your event.
Glam Filter
Our custom-made glam filter is growing in popularity. After a photo is taken, our software sends it to Photoshop, where it is edited to preset specifications and returned to the booth for printing and texting. The process takes about seven seconds. The filter lets us adjust contrast, smoothness, clarity, and sharpness. Learn more on our glam booth page.
Props Table
We use a six-foot props table covered in fitted black fabric for a polished, high-end look. If you’d prefer that we use a cover you provide or a venue-provided table, let us know before the event and we can accommodate that.
Photo Booth Props
Our props vary by package and may include funny signs, wedding signs, hats, faux jewelry, movie prop money, gold chains, oversized glasses, and more. The Event Gold package includes our most comprehensive prop selection.
Photo Booth Backdrops
All packages include a backdrop of your choice. Our most popular options are sequin pipe-and-drape backdrops in black, gold, silver, champagne, rose gold, and navy. We also offer solid white, black, and gray backdrops, along with a variety of wood-grain and floral designs. We regularly expand our selection and will keep you informed about new options.
After the Wedding
Within 72 hours of the event, we optimize your photos for screen viewing, make enhancement edits, and upload them to an online gallery for download. At the host’s request, we can text a gallery link to guests who provided a phone number. We don’t charge extra or watermark the images, so guests can download and save them easily.
